Hiya,
I have been teaching Kindergarten in Vietnam for 2.5yrs now, my wife has been offered a position at an International school there.
We are considering the move, the wifes package is very good but I only have a TEFL 120hr TESOL certificate. In Vietnam a degree is a must to teach English but 1000's do not have a degree and teach here. Not sure what the score in Thailand is.
I am currently studying for my Diploma in Children's Services with a view to do an additional top up year to gain my BA Teaching (Early Years)
Will I be able to work in Thailand teaching Kindergarten/Early Years - this is a necessity of my distance learning studying, i would even be happy to work for free if paid teaching was out of the question, anything to get the teaching degree !
So can any of you guys in Thailand advise me? Thanks... |

Kindie jobs are the easiest jobs to get if you have a degree. I dont know about someone that doesn't havea degree yet. You should be able to land a Kindie job with someone, because teaching without degrees is rampant in Thailand, although mostly in the provinces. If you volunteer you will certainly find one somewhere. |
