Another noob question:
How do you use the "Quote" button ?
I've tried it, and it includes the entire post. I edit it down, then post my own. The quote has always appeared with the html tags, not the nice and sleek look desired. |

make sure the brackets and content in them remains the same, otherwise it doesn't post correctly. |

I just wanna quote a sentence or a dangling participle. how to do that?
The quote button captures the entire post. Editing it down results in it not working |

Does your avatar have something to do with Gay Pride?
Yes, I'm cool.

You have deleted one of the "end quote" tags from the post you were trying to quote. Because you were copying a quote within a quote, there should have been two "begin quote" tags, and two "end quote" tags. (The "end quote" tag is the one with the backslash.) There needs to be one "end quote" for each "begin quote," or it won't display properly.
Hope this helps! |

Heyyyyy that last post was just straight up quote. No deleting text. It *still* came out weird.
Here's an excellent website to find avatar art:

Hmmm. . . .now there's a mystery! I used the quote button to copy the above directly from your post. But your post reads as code. Yet when I copied it, it displays correctly. Beats me! |
