What in the hell is wrong with this woman? Everyone has the right to complain and be heard in a public forum and in court. Shes been heard in court and god knows she has tried to be heard here too. Does she really think that spamming our forum is going to win her any converts? The NET scheme works for some people and doesn't for others, we all know that. She had a negative expereince, we all know that. And we are begining to know that she is a very angry, very disturbed woman who has not managed to move on in her life. I'd pity her if she weren't so damn annoying. Does she respond to anything on this forum with insight? Does she cut and paste the same old thing again and again? What is it that you want JLM? What ?!! Exposure? You've got it! Your day in court? You've got it! So I'll ask again: WHAT DO YOU WANT? If you just want to spam us and try to debunk the NET scheme, we're not interested and if we see this kind of nonsense from you again rest assured we'll do everything we can to have you and your postings removed from the forum. Get over yourself. Sometimes bad things happen. I would hope that from your own life experience that you would have learned appropriate ways to deal with this. We're you mistreated? Probably. Do we all know about it? Yes. So since you're such a wonderful, brilliant and caring professional why don't you get another job somewhere and get on with your life.

I was posting the information about the Ex-Pat Teachers' Association in response to various postings because I wanted teachers, thinking of coming to Hong Kong, to know there was a group that could help with contract and school problems. I do know that my story did help other teachers who were being harassed in schools so the slander with which you feel free to address me is insignificant compared with the good that was accomplished through this endeavour. I know I've done the right thing warning prospective teachers. It's none of my business what you think of me.

I never had a day in court. I don't know where you got that information.

I have moved on with my life, as I did the day I left Hong Kong. I am merely a caring person who felt that it was necessary to write the facts about my case and inform others of the hazards of vague teaching contracts and possible avenues to take (i.e. ETA) if you get in trouble in Hong Kong. Whatever your motive was, other than a cruel nature, in calling my submission of the article on the Ex-pat Teachers' Association (ETA) "spamming" and slandering me as a person, I could not guess, nor have any interst in knowing.

I think you misunderstood the nature of my criticsm. I am all for you and everyone else getting their say and being heard. You have been heard and by the time you started responding to every posting with your manifesto you had been heard repeatedly. You had your say just like everyone else who has a beef here. No one is or was trying to stop you from expressing your views. This was not the point. The point was that you felt the need to respond to every single posting with the same long winded manifesto on your experience. I didn't appreciate that, other posters didn't appreciate that and the site operators didn't appreciate that. It was inappropriate and you know it. Adults know when they have done something wrong and they admit it, they take responsibility. Then the other adults forgive them and everyone is happy.

I apologize if I passed on eronious information origianlly posted by others about you being in court. I assumed they knew what they were talking about, not a good idea when dealing with the Freddie Unbelievables of the world. I should have looked into it more before commenting.
