zorro,
did you ever think of writing to your university and asking for your money back for providing an inferior product? |

It is a bit frustrating, when looking for important information, on a crap foreign pc, you find a thread that sounds perfect, you wonder why it didnt come up in your search. You open it, promising start and then it gradually descends into playground slap and tickle, like many others i have read. can i suggest a forum for this? or maybe it already exists.. |

Because you have people here in Japan who call themselves educators, linguists and teachers but they have an IQ or level of maturity the same as their shoe size. Usually just kids out of college calling themselves teachers who havent changed out of diapers yet.
Try the board on http://www.teachinginjapan.com for serious discussion. |

incidentally tangledude, teachinginjapan.com does not have serious conversation. i think what paul meant to say was that it has lots of repsonses to people who are researching teaching in japan. |

I'm at that site a lot. Everything I write is serious, and I contribute to over half of the responses, so I take offense at what you wrote. Yes, you will find childish people everywhere, but that site is no worse than any other. In fact, the moderator actually deletes the threads with useless personal attacks and such. I find that refreshing. |

my point was that the majority of the threads have information about new people teaching in japan. its not serious discussion per se. don't take offense glenski. none was intended. |
