OK I'm frustrated.
Maybe I'm dense, but I've been here for 7 months now and I still do not understand how to dial a simple phone number consistently.
I know that 84 is the country code, and 8 is the HCMC dialing code. So if calling from a mobiphone cellphone how the hell do I dial a landline?
I feel like I've tried every fracking combination of numbers!
Please help! |

I think you have to dial 08-3XXX-XXXX. If you're calling from outside of Vietnam it would be 84-8-3XXX-XXXX (no zero before the HCMC area code). |
