I have heard that the system set up in Guangzhou for WEB centers is much different from the WEB system in other cities.

I received the contract, and although they pay very well, it seems as if you are "on call" every day between 9am and 9pm. Is this true?

If the WEB centers are far apart from each other, are you expected to leave your home by 7am so that you can get to your assigned WEB Center for the day on time? Do you have to go to two different WEB centers in one day?

Do you ever have a setup where you have 2 morning classes, and then not another 3 class until the evening?

Please give me some more details on the job setup. I am used to working at just one WEB center, where you are not expected to show up every day until 1pm. It was relaxing, and the work was rewarding.

But jumping from WEB center to WEB center seems to really have some drawbacks. I want to hear your opinion. It sounds like this could either be "hit" or "miss".

Yeah, that's 84 hours a week on call. Yikes !

Maybe they'll give you a cot in back to sleep on at night, so that you don't have to worry about travel time or personal time.

Hello, I just thought I would bump this topic up because very little seems to have been said about this school in the last several years. Is anyone reading this with more recent experience with Web Guangzhou? Is this on-call-all-the-time bit for real?

For the on call thing I'd turn my cell phone off the days I'm not working.
