I put this up on another site already but it was taken off in a couple of hours! Interac administration staff are unionizing because of MASSIVE pay cuts NATIONALLY by the new owners. Are they going to start cutting ALT's pay as well?

Nova died just like this. If anybody has ANY information about this, please share what you know!

What "new" owners? You're going to need to post facts and sources if you don't want to be seen as either trolling or just massively misinformed.

AFAIK Interac doesn't have new owners. They did recently (for certain values of 'recent') rearrange their ownership structure, but it's still the same owners as before - look at the archives if you want details.

The TS is right about paycuts. Everyone in Chiba took a 20,000 paycut in 2009, and it's def stayin that way. Being an ALT has really jumped the shark.

FYI The new owners are called Advantage Partners.

If you're in Interac call your scheduler and ask them about this. If you're not ths probably doesn't concern you.

They are not "new" owners as G Cthulhu said. They had a restructuring last October where more ownership was transferred to AP. If you do a search about on this forum about this you will find a thread on the very subject from the time. One poster in particular was forecasting that Interac was going bankrupt, that we not going to be paid and that our jobs were on the line. It was just like the recent end of the world predictions... nothing happened.

I've been with Interac since 2009. Nothing has changed for me and there was no salary cut for us ALTs. Whether admin/office staff were hit with cuts or not didn't and still doesn't concern me.

So if we haven't been affected, why should we be calling up schedulers?
