| Yes, they have finished hiring. I was offered a position on this programme in April - then had an email last week to say they have completed recruitment and all positions are full. |

I don't know if it is typical of UAEU. In light of the offer, it seemed considerate that they emailed to let me know the position is no longer available and they are no longer recruiting.
When the offer was made, they requested I start in September. Since I will be finishing/handing in my dissertation in September, this would be difficult. My preferance is to start in January 2012... which may be the cause of the offer being withdrawn.
Again, I don't know so I can't comment, other than to say I appreciate their professional approach.
