|
|
What's the best way for a foreigner in Japan to get a girlfriend?
If at all possible I want to stay out of the bars/clubs/etc.
Work is not an option as there are no options at work.
I'm even willing to try a dating site, but it looks like those aren't a very good choice...
Hmmmmm... Any ideas? |

If you live in a big city you can find tons of desperate, gaijin hunter types at foreigner bars.
Just sayin'. |

Oh, and try Japan.guide.com/Friends.
Though I always get creepy old men messaging me. Might work for guys, though. |

Actually I'm a girl!
Well I know tons of Japanese girls who are dying to get into a serious relationship- usually after 25 years old, maybe closer to 30, you'll find so many.
Just try those websites or join a new activity, or go to an event. It's easier in big cities, if you're in a rural area might be more tricky. |

sorry for assuming you were a man...
Yeah, those are all good options, just wish I had a little more free time. I've made a few male Japanese friends so I'm hoping they introduce me to someone. haha
Maybe I'm just being impatient... I've only been here for about a month... |
