Fairly reputable in terms of pay, as far as I know. I know someone who works for ILA and VUS, and he said VUS is much easier and they expect less of their teachers. You only teach speaking and listening, with a Viet teacher doing reading and grammar. You can decide whether that's a good thing or not. |

my buddy taught at VUS. They pay well and they are professional. Your schedule will constantly change and you will be working many nights and weekend mornings. The pay is good about $16-$20/hour (after tax) depending on experience and how well you do on your demo lesson. Like other schools how many hours you get depends on the feedback from your students. |

When I applied, they expected at least a 1yr commitment, so be ready to accept that or at least pretend it (I was honest and at the time wasn't ready for that, so I didn't move on to a demo). |
