i got Proscar 5mg at no 375 doors down from My Chau Pharmacy on Hai Ba Trung. Long Chau I think it was called. Thanks for the heads-up (pun intended).

works out at 10,750VND per day assuming you split one pill into four pieces giving a dosage of 1.25mg/day which is pretty close to the recommended dose of 1mg/day. i just can't be arsed with splitting a small round pill into five even pieces. I tried before and it ended up in 5 piles of dust!

not much more than internet prices. the girl said they always have it in stock but I take that with a pinch of salt so bought a few packets.

I found the 1mg tablets (which are the correct ones for hair regrowth) at ECO Pharmacy, 397 Hai Ba Trung.

However, after taking them for three years, I recently quit and just got a buzz cut (number 2 all over). The reason? My libido had really declined over the past couple of years, and I put it down to stress. However, some research has shown that Finistride was probably the culprit - it can cause impotency, a decrease in semen volume, and can cause a loss of sensitivity down there.

A month after stopping, I'm back to normal, and several people have told me that my new haircut really suits me, and is much better than the receding temples and wispy crown I had before. It's also much cooler under a motorbike helmet!

Sure, Finistride works - it stops your hair falling out and you might get some wispy re-growth, but I've decided it's not worth it. I'd rather be bald than impotent. Just my opinion!

in my case pretty much all my hair has grown back strong as ever. I was almost totally bald a year ago but now there's only a hint of male pattern baldness. libido suffered a bit for a while but its coming back to me - to be honest I probably benefited from it in that I was throwing myself about a bit too much, im a bit more level-headed now.or maybe just older and wiser. i read the same info as you but i had to try and (fingers crossed) I lucked out.

I guess everyone reacts differently. It did work for me for a while, but in my case, I got the side effects quite badly. Good luck to you!
