Moo, so would you like to know TQLS's Teacher Turnover Rate?
The project I worked on started on 8 December, 2010. By May 2011, 75% of the teachers had either resigned or been fired.
What is the use of signing a contract, when it is amost a certainty that you won't complete the contract?
By not completing the contract, you will lose:
Vacation Pay
Gratuity Pay
Flight Home
Opportunity Cost
Moooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
The project I worked on was supposed to start at the end of September, 2010. The start date was postponed a number of times. The project didn't start until 8 December, 2010. That's two and a half months of pay that the teachers lost.
Right now, TQLS is advertising for September, 2011. Will the project start in September, 2011 or will you have to wait around for two and a half months too without any payment?
Moo, there's more:
Work started on 8 Decemeber, 2010. I was asked to hand in my passport to TQLS on 2 January, 2011. I did not recieve my passport back until around 25 March, 2011.
At that time I also received my civil ID. My civil ID was valid starting from 24 January, 2011.
In other words,
TQLS held the passports of all the teachers for almost three months.
The earliest anyone got their civil ID was three and a half months into the contract.
Do you really need another negative experience.
