The official one has the University of Cambridge name and logo, though towards the bottom of the certificate will have "centre number" with the centre number printed. I don't think any employer (other than, say an IH offering the course) would know what the number was. It has all the usual university paper security devices etc.

That may not be too far off of the mark. The paradigm of teaching is very extensive now. Better to take an ESL certificate program from someone that offers college credit for it towards a Masters of Science in Education, Masters of Education etc. To get a good understanding of what is involved in education go to the next NESA conference coming up. Those of you who missed the NESA conference when it was here in BKK, missed something that was really good.

It doesn't say where you did the course, it is just a cert. from the University of Cambridge.

That said putting IH on your CV does seems to help opening doors.
