Regarding the OP, I think it's very interesting that he chose to post in this forum, and on such a topic, considering what has been happening recently ...

Actually, my younger brother posted the message from Canada, and I asked him to delete it (I guess I didn't log out before I left for Japan).

What's been happening recently in Cambodia?

I'd love to go there on holiday. I wouldn't mind teaching there either, but unfortunately I have a ton of student loan payments so I'm in Japan for a few years.

What's going on here? A LOT of rain. It's been going for a few days now. How's Toronto? I really miss going there.

Hmm, never been to either Japan or Toronto, but China and Chicago are pretty close, don't you think? I'll probably always prefer the latter, but it's possible I could be captivated by my trip to Japan sometime in the summer.

Hey Khermit,

If you like Cambodia so much, why don't you go back there? While I was in Canada around Sept. 11 I kept waxing lyrical over China and needless to say, my friends weren't too keen on it. They kept saying, well, you always talk about China so why not go back. To make a long story short, I did.

Just curious,

Steve

I have a ton of student loan payments too, but I can't go to Japan.

My two reasons ARE mother and child.

Cha, enjoyed your posts. The family topic is extremely interesting but in many ways too personal for me to discuss in depth here. But the threads made for some interesting reading.
