Hi everyone,
Its a long procedure. I signed the contract as an adjunct faculty member, but still I am confused about hours.
I dont know how many hours they will assign me or what about office hours??????????? |

I suspect that even they don't know the answer to those questions yet. The reality of Gulf education is that the number of students isn't known until... probably the end of the 2nd or 3rd week of classes. Also, there may be teachers that don't return after summer leave or new contract staff hired may not show up.
So expect to not know your final schedule until well into the semester. Also don't bother to make up final class lists until the dust settles. Because testing is such an inexact "science," foundations course in particular change daily for the first couple weeks. (not to mention the little princesses that will have the vapors because they aren't in the same class as their best friend, Fatma)
Relax and go with the flow...

Some people just can't resist temptation.
BTW... this is ZU, not HCT... so it should be an easier ride.
