I was wondering if anyone with experience teaching both in Korea and Taiwan could give some information on the differences? I spent a year in Korea, but I've never been to Taiwan. Also, what are the differences in getting over there. example: In Korea, they reimburse you for your airfare, give you a place to live, etc. Is this true in Taiwan as well?
Thanks for any info you can give me. |

This thread on the International Board must focus on living and teaching in Taiwan. Discussions regarding living and teaching in Korea must take place on the Korean Job Discussion Forums.
Korea focused postings appearing here will be deleted. |

I would say that most Taiwanese contracts don't provide airfaire or housing for teachers. EFL contracts in Taiwan normally do not include any travel to Taiwan or apartment, so you would be responsible for those costs. |
