Hola.

Where's the best place to look for jobs in Latin America. Are there some decent 'localised' websites?
On the usual suspects such as Tefl.com there seems to be hardly any in that neck of the woods.

Are there sites such as loquo.com (here in Spain)? Recommendations greatly appreciated.

Most jobs in Latin America are not advertised, you need to turn up in person and knock on doors with copies of your CV.

Yep, that is certainly the case in Mexico. Perhaps 2 or 3% of jobs are filled from abroad, and even those would be for jobs where higher qualifications are required, or for jobs in tiny places that are desperate enough to hire someone sight unseen.

Yeah....internet and email haven't really penetrated the professional market down here. Most things are very word of mouth and relationship oriented, which means you gotta come down here, learn Spanish and ask around (plus be qualified of course).

Or they advertise locally. You could try emailing language schools as well. International schools and unis might be the exception.
