My boss asked me today if I would like to move to another (bigger) classroom and I said that I would indeed. It won't prevent another altercation, but it'll certainly make it easier for me to get out the door quickly! Laughing

I would tell my students to save the fight till after class, if that would not work I would tell them to have a go at me. Being 6'6 99% of of the students would chicken out and sit back down. for the few fools who would try I'd just grab them by the ear or put them in a head lock and drag them to the principles office, he in turn would call their parents who would come to the school and slap the sh#it out of them for me.
