Has anyone been asked to give a urine sample when entering the kingdom or by their employer upon arrival? Or at any time?
For the purposes of a drug test I mean. |

Thanks for clarifying that!
For me...never. That's a new one in my book.
Have you, or do you know someone who has had to do this?

Dear walkin to the future,
Nope - although, of course, a urine sample was required for my medical exam in the States, prior to going to Saudi.
Never had to give one - or heard of anyone you did - IN the Kingdom.
Regards,

Dear OP,
Nope, no pee tests. However, I had to give several blood tests as part of the iqama application process. My patience was also tested daily at work. |

Ya I am aware of the medical tests. As I understand it, these are just for health reasons.
No, I have never heard of anyone having to take one of these tests and have looked back through this board to two years back and have seen no mention of it.
I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the replies. |

There was talk of a guy who got caught wıth grass ın hıs system, whether by blood or urine I dont know..
He claimed he was scared of flyıng and had smoked a couple of joints before he got on the plane to calm his nerves.
Anyway, the Royal Commissıon by way of some serious wasta managed to magic his results away............seems they were that desperate to fill their ranks |
