|
|
I am currently moored in Lebanon after taking a CELTA course and not finding a job locally. I am considering China as an option, but not sure if I want to stay for a year and would be much more comfortable with a six month contract.
Qualifications:
B.A. Anthropology
CELTA
No teaching experience
What can I expect as far as contracts go and where should I be looking? |

| Many universities would normally take you, but it could be difficult now due to the late timing. Don't expect your salary to be great, but if you can find a place, go for it and enjoy the lifestyle. |

| Universities may also ask a person working less than a full year to teach on an F visa, since they might be reluctant to undergo the expense of a Z for only one term. |

| Aston English do 6 month contracts (and various other lengths) but I'm not recommending them to anyone with your qualifications because they have a terrible reputation with not honouring contracts. |
