Work at your own risk.

I spent a year working for this operation. They are a legitimate business and they do in fact have positions available at colleges and universities throughout the kingdom. That being said you should know that they are dishonest, unprofessional, and incompetent.

Things to note:

- Although my contract stipulated when I should be paid, I was never paid on the date agreed to. Pay would regularly come 6 - 12 days later than it should have. The company assured me this was not their error but an error on the part of the college I worked at. After questioning and fact checking I found that my paychecks were always sent out on time. It was Golden Gate who would pick them up late and then "process" them at the banks for a week.

-In the most extreme case of late payment I did not receive payment until 4 months after payment should have been received. I was repeatedly told it was not their fault, because they had not received payment from the college that owed them my pay. This was true for the first two months, but I still did not receive payment until 2 MONTHS AFTER the college made payments available. The company chalked this up to an "accounting error"

-The company attempted to hire unqualified teachers. One of the teachers recommended to the college I was working at was an electrician with a high school diploma and nothing else. Although it is not my business who the company hires, it becomes difficult to work alongside those that cannot carry their own weight within the school i.e. extra work for those who know what they are doing.

-Visas were botched. I came into the country without a proper residency visa. Because of this I could not leave for vacation, I could not rent a car, and I could not open a bank account. I was not the only employee with this problem. One of my coworkers was sent an incorrect form for processing when he went on a visa run, costing him a weeks worth of accommodation and meals for which he was not compensated.

-Although health insurance is stipulated in the contract I did not receive health insurance until 2 months into the contract period. It should be noted that until I brought it up after the first month, no one had even looked into the insurance I was to receive.

I would seriously advise you not to work for these people unless you are absolutely desperate.
