Hi
I need to learn Turkish quickly so I don't get so lost trying to follow conversations and tv.
Any thoughts on a good place to go for lessons that aren't too costly?

Well they're not so cheap, but there are main 2 schools and this is the breakdown comparison:
Tomer:
Katip �elebi Mah. Tel Sok. No: 47
(In between German hospital and Istiklal)
80 hour: $420 = 639 TL
About 8TL an hour.
Intensive course dates/times:
Morning: 9-1
Afternoon: 2-6
2 month course dates/times:
3 days/week- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Morning: 9-12
Afternoon: 2-5
Evening: 6-9
2 days/week- Tuesday, Friday
Morning 9-2
Afternoon 2-7
Other info:
5-16 students
12 levels
5% or 20% discount for 2 level package
10% or 25% discount for 3 level package
15% or 30% discount for 4 level package
(depends if you pay all at once, or in monthly installments)
Dilmer:
in�n� Cad. Prof. Tarik Zafer Tunaya Sok. No:16
(in between taksim square and besiktas stadium)
80 hour: �320 � 10% = �288 = 649 TL 96 hour: �384 � 10 % = �346 = 780 TL
The 10% discount if for teachers. These both work out to be about 8 TL an hour.
Intensive course (80 hour) dates/times:
Morning: 9-12:50
Afternoon: 1:30-5:20
2 month course (96 hour) dates/times:
3 days/week- days to be announced
Morning: 9-12:50
Afternoon: 1:30-5:20
