Hi all,
I am a CELTA qualified English Teacher from England. I have 2 years post-qualifying experience (both with children and adults) working in language schools in Berlin. I am University graduate and have a BSc in Social Work
My wife (non-teacher / Italian) are thinking of moving on from Berlin to start somewhere new. We are hoping for somewhere in South-East Asia or Hong Kong / China area.
Where do you all suggest are the best places to go to given my situation. My wife would also need a dependent pass for wherever we go as well as permission to work at some point.
What would the best cities to try first (e.g. taiwan, Hong Kong, Bankgok??)
Any other advice would be appreciated
Thanks |

Best of luck to you, wherever you go. May I suggest that you reread your post and not make so many grammar, spelling, and content mistakes in the future? They will definitely look bad on any resume and cover letter. Just because this is an Internet forum, you shouldn't be so lackadaisical. |

UK passport, CELTA and degree = YOU can get a proper work visa and/or permits to work anywhere in Asia.
Legally married means she can accompany or follow you without difficulty on a dependent family visa to any country in Asia that will give you a work visa.
Can SHE get legal work will largely depend on whether or not she is qualified for a work visa as a professional. She doesn't want DDD work in a 3rd world country (pay is close to "0" and conditions are deplorable). Better she stays home and finds something of interest to keep her busy. |
