# And I will ask my friends to pich in for your coffin
ANYTHING ELSE! |

Why would I want a coffin?
If I get offered work there, just like anywhere else I would do my best to avoid death.
I like many others am allergic to death.
However I don't have any quarms about workign there if the money is justifiably good. |

I do not know if it is of any help, but I do know of a body that is looking for intensive (and make no mistakes about it, it would indeed be somewhat intensive, though perhaps it could assist in 'taking the pressure of') summer course English lecturers. It is for S5 leavers and is a 30-day contract (15 June through 28 July, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm). It pays a daily rate of $940. Although this is low, it is, I suppose, somewhat less low than the (shocking) WSE figure you cited.
As I understand it the closing date for applications is 15 May.
The URL is (from where an application form can be downloaded and further information obtained):
http://www.vtc.edu.hk/jobs
(Scroll down to "New Projects Office/English Lecturers".)
Hope this helps. |

I checked this out and was rather concerned by this statement
Q : In cases of accidents happening to students during the course, what will be the arrangement?
A : All students and trainees of the Vocational Training Council are covered by insurance, which is also applicable to the students of the Vocational English Course.
This was in the FAQ section. Worrying if people taking these courses are so concerned about their well being on the course that this becomes an FAQ!!! |
