Hi,
I am very new to this (my first post!) but I noticed that there seems to be a lack of information on teaching in the Maldives -please correct me if I am wrong!
As far as I know, the only way to teach there is, at present, through the International Volunteer Programme (IVP) which is run through the government there and the High Commission based in the UK.
I was the head of English at a secondary state school in the Maldives as part of this programme and would be happy to answer any questions people may have

Hi I taught in Maldives at uni as I was married ti a local. Two others I know from Malaysia and we all agree. Most boring place to live! Ok if you love diving but nothing else to do. Even maldivians find it dull lol and half of them live overseas! |
