As the KSA forum is blocked I have to post this here. I am already in Riyaldh with one concern (recruiters) and considering making a move.
I've been in touch with these people (Aadwa recruiting) and they want to interview me for a position at Princess Nora. My current situation is not good and I cannot see myself slogging through a whole year. However changing employers would be extremely tricky (I am on a work visit visa).
So my questions are:
(1) Has anyone heard of these people "Aadwa"?
(2) Has anyone changed employers after arriving in KSA and working for a month? This firm wants me to fly to Qatar to pick up new work visit visa as I cannot use the one I have for them. If they pay I'd go, but am trying to work out how I can do it. They are willing to give me an iqama (employment visa, but I don't want to return to US to get it.
(3) Is anyone working at Princess Nora currently? It sounds very post compared to where I am.
I'd really appreciate any insights/experiences. |

There is no such thing as a "work visit visa." You are working illegally on a short term business visa. You can leave and once it expires, I'd think you are free to do as you wish... return or not...
But, I would recommend going with a company who provides a legitimate work visa that will be turned into an iqama once you arrive. This requires extensive paperwork before your return.

Don't go on a business visa. Make sure that you are going on a legit visa that will get you a work permit (Iqama). The other route is for the feeble-minded. (Of whom there are many.) |

VS is correct you have your passport in your hand and can leave whenever yous please. People who are on work visas must hand in their passports to their employer. So the work visit visa is a business visa which can be picked up from any country. It is good for 90 days and then is renwed every 3 months up untill 9 or 10 months. |
