Dear GladToBeFree,

If the place you want to work for absolutely requires an NOC, you have two choices: Wasta or Wash the Passport.

Regards,
John

GladToBeFree, erm, once the fly works its way off of the fly paper or out of the spider web, erm, why would that selfsame fly want to fly back?

I mean, if it's REALLY GladToBeFree...why?

It's confounding as all getout!

In Russia you play the game by Moscow Rules. In Al-saudiya it is Riyadh Rules. They call the shots. Like it or go elsewhere !

Dear GladToBeFree,

Although his style is often rather abrasive, scot47 also happens to be right in what he posted.
Do you want "more uplifting" (i.e. fiction) or would you prefer the truth?

Regards,
John

P.S. Actually, considering how long he spent in the Kingdom, scot47 is about as close to being an "expert" as we have on these forums.

Dear It's Scary,

That's all news to me - however, I don't see how that would affect the "rightness" of his post or his many years of experience in the Kingdom.

Regards,
John

Hmm, "like it or go elsewhere," eh? That is the attitude I got too, and no one had to tell me twice.

Well, the pay isn't all that, and it certainly isn't worth living like a slave to corrupt overloards. The days of fat pay and perks are gone anyway.

The cow is aged and the udder is dry.
Greener pastures lie elsewhere.

Besides, deep down, nobody "likes it" unless he/she is a sucker for punishment. "Elsewhere" is exactly where one in his or her right mind would want to be.

Any old elsewhere will do fine, in fact.

For a moment there, I thought you were talking about the US Very Happy.

John

Hmmm...

Interesting response from GladToBeFree! Guess he's not GladToPostFreely!

It's a conundrum all right!
