|

Greetings Forum,
I was in HCMC a year ago and a friend took me to a famous duck restaurant where they boil the duck in coconut milk. It was in a very (comparatively) peaceful district, and if I remember correctly, it was across the river from the zoo.
I would like to ask the forum, which district is that restaurant in, and what schools are in that district?
Thanks so much! |

The zoo is near the botanical gardens, and choosing a school to work at by proximity of the zoo and coconut duck cuisine is probably as good a criteria as I've ever heard on this forum |

Thanks for the reply!
That restaurant was very popular and has been there for about 50 years, they say. The name was something like "Thit Vit" but that just means duck meat, I think.
I still don't know the district (might be D2 but I am just guessing), or any schools in the area...
Any help? |

That'll be Binh Thanh district if it's directly opposite the zoo. And thanks for the tip. If we ever establish exactly where it is on this thread, I might give it a try. |
