Does anyone know if I will have any problems if I come to Turkey and not have a return ticket? I mean I am a U.S. citizen but I'm coming from Russia. Will they ask me any questions? Thank you in advance for all your help. |

Andre,
I am also a US citizen, and I came to Turkey from the US with just a one way ticket. I had no problems. I don't know if coming from Russia makes any difference -- I doubt it. But if you are not sure, maybe you can contact the US embassy in Turkey just to check??

American passport holder here.
I came in on an airport-purchased, three-month tourist visa holding a return ticket for a year from now -- if thats not suspicious, I dont know what is -- but nobody asked any questions; nor did anyone ask to see my return ticket: stamp, stamp and I was outta there. |

When I arrived on a one-way ticket, they looked at my passport and gave a visa, and then I walked through and had it stamped. No ticket was shown or anything. |
