So I forgot some antidepressants, and had my mother ship them over without checking Turkish laws. Thus, the Turkish affiliate of FedEx declared that I needed a power of attorney letter, which they delivered, had signed for, and declared the package delivered.
They want 150 lira to process the request, and I'm not even sure the medication will get through. If it was just the meds, I would have said "screw it" and let the package rot in limbo, then gone to a Turkish psychiatrist. But I've got some other stuff in the package as well. I discussed having it returned to sender, but because they claim it's been delivered, they're effectively holding the package hostage.
Any suggestions?
Thanks and regards,
