Does anyone have a clear understanding of why visas for Canadians are delayed and slow to be issued by Saudi officials? Are Canadian officials aware of the difficulties that have been created? |

Do you have any evidence that their visas are being delayed any longer than those from other countries... like the US or the UK? Saudi is notorious for taking 2-12 months to arrange a proper work visa.

After you hand in your documents to the Embassy for the visa stamp, it takes 30-45 days. New rule, as of Sep 2011. It took one day to do it in the states |
