Hi
I am currently employed in the country that shall not be named on these boards and have winter vacation coming soon from December 23 through the end of January. I would like to travel to Vietnam during that time and work a short term position to get a good feel for the teaching environment there. I have traveled to Vietnam twice in the past so I am quite familiar with the culture.
My question would be what are my chances for finding employment for such a short amount of time? Would there be any issues I could face with visa or anything like that. Any advice is greatly appreciated!! |

| The Vietnamese lunar new year Tet in 2012 is 22-25 Jan, Year of the Dragon. Most students do not sign up for new English courses one month before and up to one month after, so you will find very little work, in addition, all of the other teachers on the ground will take the available hours. If you did find work, there would be no issues with your visa for short time teaching. |
