I would like some information about teaching in Thailand. I have:
college diploma in accounting (3 year program)
2 years experience in China
100 hour online TESOL Certificate
What are the chances of finding a job in Thailand? I dont mind not working in Bangkok. Thank you!

Does your parchment say, "Bachelor Of ______ ?
IF yes then your chances of legal work with all the appropriate visas, permits and stamps is 100%.
IF No, then you join the ranks of the rest working on repteated 60-day tourist visas, 90 day stamps, regular border runs and without the appropriate work permit, etc.
Chances of finding work outside of BKK are usually still pretty good but the work conditions are often less than ideal (low wages and/or working for dodgy agencies) and with 1/3 of the country under water your chances are less than ideal.

Patz, do you mean "legal," work permit kind outside of Bangkok for said parchment, or still have to go with tourist visa?
I've heard absolutely horrible chat from someone who did work through a recruiter, as she was sent a few hours out of Bangkok. Talked to her in month four, in Bangkok, and she told me she had enough and ran back immediately (which was when I saw her) to try to get paid and quit asap. They played every game they could. |

You may get a non-"B" visa but you probably won't get a work permit if it doesn't say "bachelor of _____". You would be doing border runs every 90 days )usually at your expense) because you can't get the extension to your non-b without the work permit and a multi-entry non-b is only good for 90 days at a time.
A;ternatively you would be working on a tourist visa, getting an extension once every 90 days then a border run to get a new visa.
Try Indonesia, Cambodia or Laos if you don't have a degree and do want legal work.
