| On many of the ads for teaching positions it mentions "comprehensive health insurance". What does that include? Is there some kind of government mandate about that? |

| Depends on whom you work for. At a major employer it should at least include most private hospitals and physicians' offices within the Kingdom. Some lesser employers' insurance programs restrict you to government facilities. A very bad idea, from an employee perspective. I am lucky; my US employer's program even includes free, full US coverage for whenever I'm in the States. When I hop over to the Emirates I pay nothing, even at the American Hospital of Dubai. |
