Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some advice on the best cities to teach in Vietnam? Further to that, can anyone recommend a good place to begin looking for ESL jobs there (besides here)?
I had a job offer of 16 hours per week minimum for US$700 / month but it was my first offer so I am trying to be careful.
I am a newly qualified CELTA teacher.

| What do you mean "best"? It's completely subjective as to what is best: city, beach, small/medium towns, country-side, etc. It depends on what your preference is. Higher wages comes with higher living expenses and ruder people. Virtually all major towns/cities in VN have schools. Do your research on a particular area and go there. They all have their own unique quality. |

Your best 'offer' is not to accept from abroad, come here first and then search. That is how you get the best offer.
Lots of teachers around HCM at the moment, I would only advertise to hire abroad because I could save money on paying some newbie less that the teachers walking in the door. |
