Degree, clean CBC, little or no experience, no TEFL cert, and in Asia:
Vietnam
Taiwan
Japan
Korea
China is possible but you will have to hunt to find the job and sell yourself as worth it.
Thailand (same as China).
Get a decent TEFL cert and the odds go up a bit.
Where can you find the job with minimal effort = no-where.

$800 savings? after taxes, after rent, after food and other expenses.
$800 is your average university salary. living on a budget, you might
be able to save $500 (apartment and utilities paid by school).
to make up the difference you'd have to take on quite a few privates.
if you can find them, if the school will allow it.
to save $800+ in china you'll have to work at a language mill.
or an international school. |

I would cross china and Thailand off your list as you could only save that much at an international school(which require experience and a teacher permit/Bed).Unless you somehow land a 10k RMB job with free accommodation and stay frugal with your money.
Japan and Korea are the best imo (dont know about vietnam situation) but it may be more difficult to get a job in japan as most jobs require you to already be in the country (aside from the few recruiters such as JET,ECC and the like). |

What other expenses do you expect to incur? A biggie is student loans. You didn't indicate whether you have any outstanding debts like those to pay.
I agree that Japan will allow you to save that much. Entry level salaries are 220,000 - 250,000 yen/month, and roughly half of that goes to basic necessities, so it's up to you to decide how you want to live in order to save $800 out of that remaining 125,000 yen. It is not that hard unless you have other debt looming over you and unless you are a party-hearty person or wish to travel a lot. |

Saudi Arabia, if you can stand the pain. You'd also have to work on a business (non-working) visa with some dodgy company like Edex. Potentially you'd save $2500+ month, if they accepted you.
Turkey is definitely possible, in somewhere like Istanbul or Ankara, especially if you get some private lessons on the go. Again, without a TEFL certificate, you'd almost certainly be working illegally. Lots of people do that, however.
China? I highly doubt it. You'd be lucky to earn that much as a salary, let alone save it.
Thailand? Similar story to China.
I think Korea is your best bet, considering you have no TEFL certificate. |

$800 is more than I even made in China and Peru, starting out. I echo what tttompatz has said.
If you have experience and an MA, then check out the ME. |

It's doable in China if you are in the biggest cities. You can fairly easily save $800 USD a month here in Shenzhen if you work at one of the private schools full time. They typically start out at around $2,000 USD a month for working 25 teachings hours + 15 office hours. At least that was my experience with Web International, though keep in mind that doesn't include a free apartment. |

Jobs start out at 2K?
Do you need anything for the private schools like a CELTA or will a 4 yr degree do?
How much would a cheap room or studio apartment run? |

Carolina - within a couple of years and with a CELTA/B.A. it's certainly possible to save $800 USD/month in Colombia. You'll need one of the better jobs though to do it. |
