There seem to be some new regulations, or application of regulations around concerning 'denklik', a certificate of equivalence for certificates gained outside Turkey.
After some years working in Turkey, including 6 years at a state university as assistant professor, for a new position I find I now need to get 'denklik' from yk. Providing notarised translations of the various degree certificates is no problem and nothing new, but they are also asking me for my 'lise diploması', high school graduation diploma. As far as I know there is no such thing in UK, at least not in my day.
The regulations for denklik at degree and masters level are on the yk website at http://www.yok.gov.tr/en/content/view/389/196/ It states that high school diploma is needed. Is this new?
Has anyone else been asked for this, and how did you did you deal with it?
Thanks for any assistance, |
