Yes, I was recognized once, and it was strange and uncomfortable. I've met other posters deliberately, which is no problem, but being "outed" by a stranger is weird.

No, but if anyone saw my tattoo they could recognize me. I imagine that it would freak me out.

One time. Last year, another TESL student in my program brought up Dave's. After discussing it for several minutes, he asked if I was Irish and I admitted to it.

It was a bit of a surprise to be recognized but no big deal. In truth, I'm fairly easy to identify for anyone who knows me.

No, you're missing out the vowel. They were asking of you were really dumb.

Wow, Denise. What kind of tatoo would that be? The little bearded guy? Or something equally distinct? Photos are required.

I've only been regularly posting for a few months and was recently "recognized" by a coworker in Japan.

After explaining that I had recently just moved from Paris, she says immediately, "Oh!!! Are you lostinparis?"

Neither of us had even mentioned Dave's ESL Cafe.

Kinda creeped me out to be spotted so easily!
