The visa stamp itself doesn't take long to get: Simply take your COE and passport to your local embassy/consulate and on average, a few days to a week later you'll have your stamp.
The COE that your employer must apply for at immigration from within Japan; that on the other hand can (and most likely will) take much longer. Depending on how busy immigration is, it could take them upto 2 months to process a COE application. If there are any problems with any of the paperwork that either you or the employer supplies, then this could lengthen the process.
And a little advice:
Before you post again, can I suggest that you read the FAQs, run a forum search and perhaps even google a couple of things first. You could have easily found the answer for yourself to this question within a couple of mins by doing any one of those things rather than wait hours for a response. Plus people don't appreciate having to answer the same questions over and over again especially when it appears that the OP is too lazy to do any research for themself. |
