Am I being lowballed? Or are salaries declining nationwide?

However, sometimes it's hard to know what is fake and what is real until after the purchase and it has been taken home . . . and then falls apart. Good luck getting a refund!

I agree with what one poster said above: The longer you stay in one location, the more your salary and benefits will rise and the easier negotiations for the "perks" can be. Move from place to place so you can "experience" China and you pay the price of being an unknown in an unknown situation and you may end up in a hit or miss kind of gig.

If you paid that much for something you thought was knock-off, I shudder to think what you'd pay for the real thing.
