I was wanting to get information about what areas to live in and avoid in Taipei. I would like to live where other foreingers are situated.
Thank you,

The two areas I can think of with many foreigners running around are 1) Tianmu, where most older company transfer/contractor expats live with their families OR 2) the neighborhoods around Taipei National University (Shi Da), where mostly younger foreign students live with roommates. |

If you are on a budget, you may want to consider Panciao or Zhong Ho. Both are conveniently located on the MRT. Standard of living is way lower when you cross a bridge. Remember tho, you get what you pay for. |
