With your credentials, you should be looking at Teachaway. But, I do believe that they want face-to-face interviews. They do them around in various countries. It will certainly be the best paying for a certified teacher.
They normally have ads running here and you can check their website.

I am aware of teachaway and the other recruiters - but teachers have to pay alot of money to travel to the sites for interviews - add it it up - lots of money - plane fare, car rental, hotel, taking time off from work - and maybe no job afterwards - no wonder they are always interviewing = most people simply cannot afford to do all of that. Ditto for the job fairs - expensive. |

Well... the truth is that this is how you get the high paying jobs in the schools teaching K-12. There are likely places that will hire you with no interview at all... but I doubt that you want to work there.
Other than that, all you can do is apply when you see an ad somewhere and come back here and check the place out if you get an offer. There are way too many very very bad employers in this part of the world. So, carefully check out any offers you may get.

Two sayings quickly come to mind here:
1.) It takes money to make money, and;
2.) Ya gotta pay if ya wanna play...

Search Associates costs money and she's already stated her opinion on that!

My job interview with UAEU was via videoconference. Surely that's more common these days... |

That is certainly true of the universities, but not of the schools. All the better K-12 level jobs seem to require face-to-face interviews. Teachaway requires that you travel to them and the other option seems to be going to job fairs.

I was hired after two phone interviews. I worked in the UAE for CfBT from 12/2008 through 7/2009. I was hired through Teach Anywhere - I spoke with folks then working in Abu Dhabi, while I was in Nashville TN. I was assigned to work as an advisory teacher at a public girls' middle school.
So try Teach Anywhere, is my advice. |

2 long distance phone interviews and I was hired. VERY long intense interviews, mind you--- asking very specific questions (lots of those dreaded "what if" questions). |

Why was it when I first read this quote, Guns and Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle" started playing in my head???
It's a red flag question if there ever was one! |

Teach Away and Caneducom's big interview push is usually in....I think late spring (April-June) - that's when they do in-person interviews just about everywhere. I had my interview in January (I think) and was fortunate to find a plane ticket (round-trip, one day) under $150. It's pretty rare for secondary school teaching to get hired - in the public school system, at least - without an in-person interview. I don't know why this is, but it seems to be one of the ways they winnow out some of the less serious candidates.
Private schools often do skype interviews. They're also less likely to use recruitment agencies like Teach Away or Teach Anywhere, etc. |
