|
|
I currently teach English in HCM at a secondary school (afternoons), and at a language school (evenings). I have BA & MBA degrees plus a CELTA. Will soon get the Y-Extension. I have my work permit. I am happy here in VN - honestly no complaints - the place has grown on me. I might visit Myanmar (Burma) during Tet. What is the current job situation for teaching English ESOL in Burma? Any worthwhile schools? I have a positive feeling about Burma, but I have not been on the ground yet to check it out. |

Hi andwar,
I'm certainly no expert but my understanding is that the best gig there is in the British Council. They advertise quite regularly. There is actually an add on Dave's right now for it:

There are 10 or 12 International schools in Yangon.
They recruit mainly certified,registered teachers.
There are also language centres-Nexus and Total are two of them.
Bets bet is do a bit of research and then fly there and knock on some doors.
Google is your friend...
You're welcome
