|
|
Yes, yes I've read a lot of the hooplah and bad experiences etc, about SABIS / Chouiefat. (I also read a lot of that about Hess before I came to Taiwan, and I've had a fantastic experience. )
I would just like to know what kind of questions they ask on the phone interview. I like to go in prepared if I'm able. If anyone has had a recent telephone interview and would care to share... I'd be very appreciative. Yes, I know what I'm getting into. And yes, the benefits of moving there far outweigh problems in the work environment. Many, many thanks in advance for anyone kind enough to help me out. |

I wouldn't worry too much about interview questions as they don't seem to be terribly choosy as long as you have the pieces of paper... and seem to be malleable and the type that won't challenge management nor the Sabis educational theory of test test - teach to the test.

Hey VS, thank you for the reply. What are the "pieces of paper" to which you are you referring? |

Most of the branches require that you are a certified/licensed teacher from your home country... although we have had people post here that they received an offer with only a degree, not the cert - perhaps some experience. They also sometimes hire teachers right out of university with no experience. Didn't the ad tell you the requirements?

Yes, it did... I guess I misunderstood your meaning and thought you were referring to some mysterious "other" pieces of paper... oops. |

Newbies to the board are often confused by our "jargon" here...
