Many threads cover this chain of schools - here and via search engines. You'll essentially be back here complaining should you jump on board with them. I have no experience with them myself, but my own competent search support this idea. Since, however, I refuse to work in the private industry of language training centers, it's not an issue. |

I have done a search on that specific school and only found something dating back to 2007 and nothing since.
Well I guess it is all about taking chances with this type of industry. |

Shane English School in Dongying used to have an American DOS who wrote a guide on Dongying (now outdated).
The pay is low for a wealthy oil city (2nd largest oil field in China) and a LOT of people in the city are bling bling so there is money to go around (just not in the foreigner's pockets).
It is a for-profit school and they will make you work your butt off. I hope they pay you well, they never used to.
Dongying itself is all right. I have friends there and there is a motley crew of foreigners there. |

Thank you for you comment on the school. I have already signed a contract and I wondered the same thing about the pay as I know that it is a wealthy state. I really hope that things work out. |
