Hi everybody,
I'm new here on the forums. I'm a college grad that is interested in working in Japan as an ALT, and I found the following company quite interesting. I tried doing a search for this company in this forum, but came up with no results.
Has anyone heard of this company or worked for it in the past? I'd love to hear your opinions.

Thanks in advance! |

I have not worked for them, but my experience was to be turned down even before an interview. It seemed strange because I'd had a few years teaching experience at the time, and they were advertising specifically then for someone to teach professionals in the pharmaceutical industry, yet my 15 years in that specific field seemed to mean nothing to them. Take that for whatever you will. |

Glenski, thanks for the response. I did read that there are only ~150 staff. Perhaps they are a bit more competitive? |

Perhaps. I would think that 5-7 years of teaching experience in Japan, 5 months of training Japanese biotech scientists (in Japan and the U.S.), plus a master's degree in science and 15 years of industrial experience (complete with publications in the field) would have made me pretty competitive. Who can say? I hope you get other replies here. Don't mean to hog. |
