Would you consider teaching in Mexico or taking a vacation there?
Yes, I crave danger (and real tacos)!

Sure, why not? After Iraq, I am ready for some peace and quiet.

VIOLENCE LEADS TO CONTINUED DECLINE IN TOURISM IN MEXICO

And any gains or increases in the market are a fraction of what they should be if the drug war was not in full swing.

The fact remains that Mexican tourism is in a very healthy state, and many UK tour operators are actually ADDING more destinations to their portfolios (praise be to (your) God!).

Remember, this is not based on hearsay or sensational journalism, but on my actual experience talking to UK operators. There was a great turnout of European agents at the FITA (Feria Internacional del Turismo de las Amricas) here in Santa Fe last September. I don't think they would have gone to the expense of coming here if they weren't going to get a return on their investment.

I hope! Not only will the PRI help Mexico, they will also help the professional TEFLer's working throughout Mexico by restoring stability and SOME control. Two things that always helps the job market. Cool

VERY funny! Advice? Yeah, take out a good life insurance policy before you do it. That is if you're married.
