Hey, I am looking for a teaching position in the Kansai area. I am currently teaching in Taiwan at a Shane school and I was hoping just to get transferred to make it easy for myself, but I was told there were no positions (or maybe no schools, they weren't clear when I asked.) My friend gave me this site to look at MOD EDIT but all the jobs posted said I must already reside in Japan or that I must know Japanese. I've checked the jobs on Dave's cafe website, but most of them have interviews in the UK, US, Canada or Australia, which isn't useful to me here in Taiwan.
So can anyone tell me any schools I could e-mail my resume to, or a recruiting agent who would be able to help me find work. Any information or advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |

If you're not already in Japan, it will be very limiting to find an employer willing to deal with you, perhaps even more so since you aren't even in your home country. A few might do a Skype interview.
Look at the links in the FAQ stickies for plenty of other sites to pursue ads. |
