Oh, urr, something thread related..... I went through that tunnel leading into district one the other day... Thủ Thim tunnel? Is it new? Seemed pretty cool for SG, not sure if it's near any Russian Markets though....

Can't we all just g-g-get along? [i]I can. I get "along" the street well, or should that be some other preposition? Do you mean "get along" with other people? How can you "get along" with other people? Can you "get alongSIDE" other people. Maybe Hop-along Cassidy knows the answer. All too confusing to me.

I was (mis)quoting Rodney King. What he actually said was: "...can we all get along? Can we get along? Can we stop making it, making it horrible for the older people and the kids?..."

Sorry, forgot about get along/get on. How do people "get on"? I know how to get on most vehicles. I could get on a horse, but I'm not as proficient as Butch was. Hopalong was a fictional character, BTW.

Thanks for pointing out yet another difference in this wonderful, ever changing language that we share.

What else could I do to keep myself amused if I didn't have this forum to contribute to?
