| Does anyone know of an online site that lists apartment rentals in Oman (Sohar specifically). I'd like to investigate prices of accommodation etc. before I arrive next month..hopefully if there is an online site I will be able to navigate it in English....thanks a lot |

| Hi again....There is nothing online to my knowledge....You will most likely have to deal with an agency soon after your arrival. Furnished apartments are a rarity in Sohar to my knowledge....Your best bet is to probably stay in a furnished room in one of the hotel apartments for the first month or so...not all that cheap but will give you the flexibilty to search for a place that suits your needs. Have the contact number of a young Omani guy who is keen to find places for expats near the corniche. Just need to find it in my phone. |
